Dadu's Toy Trees
Detachable Foliage Trees
Our initial trees were crafted for the animals on the savannah, such as the baobab tree and the acacias famously seen in African landscapes. The acacias, known for their wide, expansive canopies, naturally provide a home for other toy animals, birds, and insects.
In addition to serving as a wonderful environment and scenery for exciting role-playing games, these toy trees also function as shape matchers, helping to develop manual dexterity, fine motor movements, and hand-eye coordination.
DaduGarden Trees
In our gardening playset, flowers and vegetables take center stage, but we also understand that a real garden isn't complete without trees. Our spring blossoming trees can be planted in little gardener hills, and, of course, they can be used together with our other toys.
Fairy Tale Forest
In the fairy tale forest, the delicate branches of trees with various shapes and colors sparkle magically. Their painting is inspired by Klimt. We wanted to create a toy that captivates children during play, just as the decorative world of Art Nouveau enchants us.
Christmas Trees
While in reality, children may encounter beautifully decorated, festive Christmas trees only once a year for a few days, in their little play world, these trees are fortunately always present.
The small fir trees adorned with tiny golden or silver bead strings and the larger Christmas trees from Dadu's Fairytale Forest with enchanting golden mosaic patterns can be exquisite additions to the anticipation of the holidays, whether placed next to a nativity scene or on a seasonal table. As they don't shed their needles, they can be involved in various games throughout the year.
The big whimsical Christmas trees, also serving as decorative and modern toys, double as advent countdowns. Little hands can place 24 colorful ornaments in them while eagerly awaiting the holiday. Simultaneously, thanks to their unique and exciting shapes, these trees aren't confined to Christmas.
Their bends can give nests for small toy animals to hide in, and the Christmas tree decorations, which are actually regular cylinders, can be used effectively in all sorts of building games.
Playful Teaching about Sustainability, Environmentalism, and Diversity
We believe that crucial values can be most effectively instilled in children through play. With our unique and special wooden toys, we aim to contribute to this process. While a nature hike or a stroll in the forest provides the best environment to introduce children to the wonders of nature, it's not always possible in today's fast-paced world. Through shared play, we can seize excellent opportunities to discuss with children the importance of preserving the environment around us and the shared responsibility we all bear for the future. Obviously, a few years old child comprehends and embraces this concept when presented in their language—through games, stories, personified animals and plants, songs, and poems. Our crafted toys, including the various trees, can become beloved characters in these play-based learning experiences.
An Idea:
Encourage children not only to give names to the animal figures but also to the trees.
This way, they can even more easily immerse themselves in the idea that plants are living, sentient beings who also require their care.
You would make Dadu happy if you wrote to him, telling him the names your little trees have :)
